The transition of Bayer Granite Granita’s midfielder to Sanderland was a serious threat, according to the German edition of Bild.

The 32-year-old Swiss reached a prior consent with the English club on a three-year contract with a salary of ten million euros a year-three million more than he now receives in Levercusen.

However, the main obstacle was the reconciliation of the transfer amount. Sanderland, which went to the Premier League this season, has set a rigid limit of ten million euros to transfer. While Bayer estimates his key havbeck is twice as expensive – 20 million.

If the clubs are not able to find a compromise, Jaca will remain in Levercusen, where he spent an extremely productive season 2024/25: 49 matches, two goals and seven assistants in all tournaments.
