She stated this in an interview with UA.news, commenting on the situation around the law, which was passed on July 22, and in fact destroys the independence of NABU and SAP.
“Why are we waiting for these reactions? We have to respond ourselves. We are society, we are normal people, we can think critically. And we see that people have responded on July 22. There were many citizens who came to protests in the south. It is a healthy reaction of society. And to wait that someone will somehow react and make our power think and change their position – it is infantilism.
By and large, they (Western partners – ed.) Are not guilty. They expressed their concern and live on. Just “wound themselves on the mustache”: “In Ukraine, something is not acceptable. All. We will not give money there. ” I consider military assistance separately because in their interests to maintain our defense, ”Galina Hile notes.
According to her, Western partners will have to respond, but will not completely stop funding, in particular for the needs of the Ukrainian army.
“Of course, they, in particular the EU, will not stop helping us in military matters. Because it is important for them that Ukraine remains an obstacle between Russia and Europe. They may create a fund that will be physically under the control of the European Union, to make it impossible for Ukrainian corrupt officials to make access to this assistance, ”Galina Hile said.
