The Government for the NSDC decision on a moratorium on unfounded business checks will prepare proposals for changes to the Criminal Procedure Code. In accordance with these changes, only the Prosecutor General or Oblast Leaders will be able to open new business proceedings.

About it reports the portal Sud.ua with reference to the Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko.

“Our priority is justice, not tolerate selectivity,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine emphasized.

However, in the appropriate decision of the NSDC, which entered into force Volodymyr Zelenskyy, it is already a question of accelerating the adoption of the draft law 12439 on amendments to the CCP on improving the guarantees of protection of economic entities during criminal proceedings. On February 25, the Verkhovna Rada approved this bill 12439 as a basis.

It proposes to introduce rules on the term of validity of the seizure of property, the cancellation of the seizure of property, to supplement the list of orders of the investigating judge, which can be appealed during the pre -trial investigation, to set a clear term for the return of property after the arrest was canceled.
