Sviridenko plans to negotiate with a Bessent on potential financial assistance in the coming days

The new head of the Ukrainian Government Yulia Sviridenko announced its intention to carry out distance negotiations with the US Finance Minister Scott Bessent in the coming days on potential financial assistance. She told this in an interview with Bloomberg.

The new Cabinet of Ministers will also seek to cooperate with the United States on the purchase of weapons, including Patriot Air Defense, and the joint production of drones, the newspaper writes.

According to Sviridenko, this may include the construction of factories in the US for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles.

“The idea is that we are really a strong nation-I think it is one of the best examples of a single battlefield for technology testing,” the Prime Minister said.

On July 17, the Verkhovna Rada supported Zelensky’s changes in the government. In particular, Parliament approved Yulia Sviridenko’s candidacy for the post of Prime Minister of Ukraine.
