On Monday, July 21, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting on the development, production and purchase of drones. The President also announced that on Tuesday the government should make a number of important decisions on this issue. About it reports “RBC-Ukraine” with reference to Telegram of the Head of State.
– Governments, NSDCs, Armed Forces of Ukraine, office team work together. They analyzed all the directions for the necessary drones, and special emphasis-on drones-interceptors. There have been reports for every really effective development, we will contract as much as possible. Tomorrow, government officials have to make appropriate decisions, – the President said.
According to him, the declared volumes of drones for the Defense Forces of Ukraine will strengthen the protection of our positions at the front and normal life in cities and villages. The President stressed that “responsibility for execution of contracts is personal.” He urged to continue their fruitful work and thanked everyone who helps.
- Earlier, Zelensky stated that Ukraine plans to produce hundreds of thousands of drones-interceptors this year, as the number of Russian “Shahmed” beaten will grow steadily.
- On June 30, Zelensky warned that Russia is increasing its production of drones, but Ukraine is already preparing to counter it.
