In the Russian Federation under the attack of drones was a part of Moscow

The drones on the night of July 20 attacked Zelenograd – the former city in the Moscow region, which is now administratively part of the capital of the Russian Federation of Moscow. According to the mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobanin, the Russian air defense forces were knocked down by 16 drones flying to Moscow.

According to Sobianin, emergency services work “at the site of the debris” in Zelenograd. The mayor of Moscow stated that “there are no serious damage and victims, according to preliminary information.”

The drone hit a dwelling house in Zelenograd, said the local Telegram-channel “PP Zelenograd”. Damaged apartment, also due to the fall of the fragments of the UAV burned two cars.

Zelenograd is one of the centers of the Russian microelectronic industry.

Rosivation reported that Moscow Airports Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky temporarily introduced restrictions on the reception and departure of aircraft.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that on the night of July 20, the Russian air defense forces were shot down and intercepted 93 Ukrainian drones, including 19 drones over the territory of the Moscow region (16 of them were flying to Moscow).

After the commencement of a full -scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, Russian regions, as well as occupied Russian territories, regularly undergo shelling and attacks of drones.

The Ukrainian side emphasizes that it is working on the weakening of the rear bases of the army of the Russian Federation to reduce the offensive potential of the aggressor.
