President Volodymyr Zelensky put into operation a decision of the NSDC of July 20 on sanctions against 5 people. It is about former people’s deputies Gennady Balashov and Natalia Korolevsk, as well as Russian journalist Yulia Latinin.
This is evidenced by the decree on the presidential website.
The sanctions were imposed against 5 natural persons, among them the Russian citizen Tatiana Aksonenko, citizen of Ukraine Gennady Balashov, citizen of Ukraine Natalia Korolevskaya, Russian citizen Yulia Latinina and citizen of Ukraine Andriy Serebryansky.
The Head of State instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to inform the competent authorities of the European Union, the United States of America and other states about the application of sanctions and raise the issues of introducing similar restrictive measures.
Earlier, it became known that the European Union has imposed a restriction against 18 individuals, 41 companies and 22 Russian banks within the framework of the 18th Package of Sanctions against Russia.
