– No, I just came, only from the road. I thank Alexander and his team who was invited. We know each other for a long time, some met at competitions.
The scale is astounding. The number of people known – impresses. Of course, the first time to see it is personally impressive.
– You will be able to see the “backstage”. All these nuances of professional boxing, which is happening now?
– Nothing new to me. The work of a large team. I see how it all goes. Focus, planned everyone approaches the main one – the very duel, which we will soon see.
– How will the battle develop, what is your forecast?
– I have no doubt that Alexander will win. I do not want to talk anything in advance, but my personal feelings say: victory will be early or by points. I do not even imagine another option.
– Usik has been 38 years old. How do you think, how many more Usik will fight in the professional ring?
– I think he has proven many young athletes with his example that there was nothing impossible. Usik proved that he wants so much of it – just so much he has.
I see how confident he makes the decision and goes to the new goal he sets. I see how cool it comes out. Of course, he is an example for me.
– You may be inspired by what you see, you will go to professionals. What awaits you in the Medium -Table Fronties?
– It is not a secret or a surprise. I said a lot that my main goal is Olympic Games in Los Angeles. I want to become the most titled Olympic boxer in Ukraine.
I also want to try myself in the professional ring next year. I will combine the Olympic box with professional.
We will remind, at the Olympic Games in Paris Alexander won “gold” in the weight category up to 80 kg.
It should be noted that the duel between the boxers for the title of absolute world champion in the high weight will take place this week, namely on the night of July 19 to July 20.
