Transcarpathian police said that the event took place on July 16 at about 22:00 in the village of Palade-Komarivtsi.

In the course of the events, law enforcement officers found out that an unknown person had entered the territory of the temple, set fire to the front door, and on the facade of the building with black paint “made a provocative nature aimed at igniting national and religious hatred.”
Currently, police officers are taking measures to search for a crime involved in cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine.
What was before:
- Last week, Hungary summoned the Ambassador of Ukraine, protesting due to the alleged death of its citizen in Transcarpathia due to the actions of the TCC employees.
- The Ukrainian side noted that the deceased was a citizen of Ukraine, and according to the forensic examination, the cause of his death was the thromboembolism of the pulmonary artery.
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, in turn, stated that the attempts of Hungary to manipulatively use for political purposes certain cases of mobilization in Ukraine are harmful to Ukrainian-Hungarian relations.
- A few days later, the Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Siyarto stated that his country had suggested that the EU sanctions be imposed on three Ukrainian officials in connection with the alleged violent death of the Hungarian due to the actions of the Tax Code in Transcarpathia.
