- On July 14, 2025, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that he suggested the First Viceremier-Minister-Ministers of Economy Yulia Sviridenko to head the government in which then Prime Minister Denis Shmigal should hold the post of Minister of Defense.
- Schmigal filed a resignation application on July 15. The release of the premiere means the resignation of the entire government.
