Career Tomasz Valentek was born on November 18, 1985. Tomash by profession – a paramedic, worked at the Polycarp Brudzinski Children’s Clinical Hospital in Warsaw. All his life, a man was engaged in mixed martial arts, performed in the amateur tournaments of the Polish Federation of Mixed Martial Arts MMA.
Combat experience Valentek was a military serviceman of the Polish army, a veteran of missions in Kosovo and Afghanistan. After returning from Afghanistan in 2010, Tomash said he would no longer take the weapon. But after the katsaps were full of rapidly attacked Ukraine, Tomash decided that he would not be inappropriate. The warrior was motivated clearly: “Ukraine will fall – the next will be Poland.”
Valentek’s uniforms bought for his money and, arriving in Ukraine, in the spring of 2022 entered the international legion. A little later, Tomash went into the Carpathian Sich battalion. The warrior had a call sign Maverik, which in Polish means a vagrant.
Death Tomash died on June 17, 2022, at an outpost in the village of Firnopilly near Izium in Kharkiv region. The soldiers were instructed to defend this place. At about 11:00 am, a Russian intelligence group came to the meeting. The katsaps were much larger. A fierce shootout began. Russian used a variety of equipment – mortars, artillery.
The first was Tomash’s friend, Kolumbian Camilo “Columbia” Marquez. Kamilo was a sniper. Before the battle, they and Tomas promised each other that if one of them was killed, he would not be left on the battlefield. Therefore, when Columbia was injured, Moorik decided to go after a friend, despite the words of friends: “Don’t go, we will return to him later.” Tomash replied: “The Russians will take him faster and torment him.” The brothers covered Valentte with fire, but the bullets of the enemy collapsed with such force that there was no chance of rescue. Tomash was injured on the left side of the chest. The wound was easy, but the debris caused serious damage. After injuring, Tomash got up and shouted, but the sound was so loud that it was not to understand what he was screaming. Seeing this, the commander began the resuscitation, but Tomash died in 15 minutes.
Family At home, Tomasha has a daughter and bride.
“Tomash always said that he had two hearts – Polish and Ukrainian. As soon as the war began, he immediately spoke volunteer to join the ranks of the military and help in the struggle for freedom of Ukraine, ”the bride of Martha’s warrior told.
Honoring Tomasz Valentek was buried on August 10, 2022 at home, in the village of Konopka, the Czestokhiv County of the Silesian Voivodeship.
