He disappeared on July 14 during a flight from Okhotsk to Magadan. There were five people on board: three crew members and two technicians.
According to TASS, the helicopter returned to Magadan after repair.
The aircraft was searched for two days. On July 16, a gel -digter fragments with traces of a fire were found in Cape Hadikan in the Khabarovsk Territory.
Why is it important: After imposing sanctions against Russia for its bloody war against Ukraine, aircraft accidents were increased in the Russian Federation. This was explained by the lack of necessary parts that the Russian Federation had previously imported from Western countries.
