“The victim of this cruel hunt for people was a Hungarian citizen,” he added.
According to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, at a meeting of the EU Council he announced that on Wednesday “we officially initiate sanctions against all Ukrainian military leaders and officials who are responsible for the beating of a Hungarian citizen to death.”
Earlier, Viktor Orban Prime Minister Viktor Orban addressed such sanctions to the European Union.
We will remind, last week Hungary summoned the ambassador of Ukraine, expressing a protest due to the alleged death of its citizen in Transcarpathia by the employees of the Tax Code.
The Ukrainian side noted that the deceased was a citizen of Ukraine, and according to the forensic examination, the cause of his death was the thromboembolism of the pulmonary artery.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, in turn, stated that the attempts of Hungary to manipulatively use for political purposes certain cases of mobilization in Ukraine are harmful to Ukrainian-Hungarian relations.
