The National Police of Ukraine discovered and neutralized a powerful underground group that made counterfeit pesticides under the guise of goods of well -known brands.
According to militiamen, criminals organized a network of eight illegal shops, where on an industrial scale mixed pesticides, using raw materials from China, which contained potent poisonous substances.
The participants of the scheme labeled the fake brands of leading European and American companies, for which they organized their own production of protective labels, holograms and packaging in the Kiev and Odessa regions.
A separate unit in Kharkiv region was engaged in the production of packaging for products. Sales were carried out through online stores both in Ukraine and abroad-including EU countries.
