Details: On Tuesday, July 15, Sibiga met with a special representative of Donald Trump, who has been visiting Kiev since July 14.

During the meeting, they discussed ways of expanding mutually beneficial Ukrainian-American cooperation in the field of defense, as well as congratulated the two-party support for sanctions against Russia in 2025 and coordinated further steps to increase the cost of war for the aggressor.
“We are grateful to Trump President for his important decision to provide, together with European allies, new Patriot systems and other weapons,” the Ukrainian diplomat stressed.
It should be noted that on July 14, Trump stated that NATO and the United States reached an agreement on the supply of weapons to Ukraine. New equipment will be manufactured for NATO and available for further supply to Ukraine.
On the same day, the US President announced the departure of additional Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine.
After that Trump’s decision, Kellogo said he had discussed him with President Vladimir Zelensky.
