Details: The President met with Special Affairs of Donald Trump on Ukraine on Monday July 14, when he arrived on a visit to Kiev. According to the Ukrainian leader, they had a “productive conversation”.

Zelensky expressed his hope for the leadership of the United States against the background of Russian ambitions.

“I thank Kellog Kellog for this visit to Ukraine. I am grateful to Trump President for the important signals of support and positive solutions for both of our countries. We appreciate the support of the American people,” he summed up.

As Zelensky was subsequently noted in the official mission, the meeting also discussed the general situation at the front and the needs of Ukrainian soldiers.

Zelensky also confirmed the readiness of Ukraine to buy American weapons, especially the air defense systems. The parties discussed the joint production of drones, the possibility of direct procurement of Ukrainian drones by the United States and a potential purchase of weapons in cooperation with European partners.
