Nicolas Stefanets is convinced that buying a game is a fact that it belongs to the buyer.

On July 12, he posted on the Instagram page a video stating that he had signed a petition and intended to help the movement in the future.
“I’m on the side of the people who started this civic initiative. I signed the petition and will continue to help them. The game after the purchase belongs to the user and not the company.”
Although at this stage it cannot influence a lot, its support can play a key role if the initiative is discussed in the European Parliament.
Now the traffic continues to sign, the minimum threshold of a million has already been passed, but it remains to reach a number of EU countries and undergo signature checks to get the opportunity to speak before the European Commission.
Support Stefanets appeared against the backdrop of criticism of initiative by Video Games Europe, which opposed the Stop Killing Games, calling her proposals the threat of freedom of developers.
Earlier, we said that Stop Killing Games initiative supported Minecraft creator Marcus Notch Person. He stated that if the purchase of the game is not the possession, then piracy is not theft.
