The Ukrainian company Teneta has introduced a new means of combating hostile drones-a disposable Mitla 1 mesh. The device is designed to defeat FPV-punks and reconnaissance quadcopters by braiding their screws with a special grid.
Mitla weighs 365 grams and has a compact size – 200 mm long and 40 mm diameter, which allows it to be worn freely in combat equipment. To start, you must pull out the fuse, aim and press the start button. The 3.5 × 3.5 meters mesh automatically unfolds 0.2 seconds after a shot.
The maximum effective range is up to 25 meters. The structure uses a 7.62 mm pyropatron caliber, so when firing there is a noticeable return – it is recommended to hold the device with both hands.
