Polish tennis player and the fourth racket of the world Iga Svettek (WTA 4) won the trophy of the Wimbledon tournament 2025!

In the final, Polka in two sets destroyed US representative Amanda Anisimov (Wt 12) in 59 minutes.

It was the first meeting of rivals.

Iga, in addition to Amanda, also overwhelmed Kudermetov, Katie Mcnalli, Daniel Collins, Claru Tauson, Lyudmila Samsonov and Belinda Bencic at Wimbledon. For seven matches, the polka gave only one set.

For the first time in her career, Swontek won the Wimbledon title. In total, Iga held the six finals of Grand Slam and became the champion for the sixth time. The only Major who has not yet obeyed is II – Australian Open.

Swontek became the first Polish tennis player to become a champion in the single category of Wimbledon. Earlier in the decisive matches of the British blind from the representatives of Poland played Yadwig Yenzheyevskaya (1936) and Agnieszka Radvansk (2012).

Iga won the first trophy since June 2024, when Rolan Harros became champion. There are 23 titles on the account of the Polish tennis player.

Svontek will return to the third step of the WTA ranking from Monday.
