According to her, investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation carried out investigative actions both at the place of service and at the place of residence of Shabunin’s relatives.
Kaleniuk suggests that searches may be related to criminal proceedings against the former commander of part of Viktor Yushko, as well as Shabunin’s trips on business trips to the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC).
The CPC has already stated the political implication of the actions of law enforcement officers and urged not to use law enforcement agencies to pressure public activists. Official comments from the DBR at the time of publication have not yet been received.
