The EU with four countries launched a project for Ukraine’s reconstruction of 37 million euros

During the Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine in Rome, the European Union, along with Denmark, Germany, France and Lithuania, launched the EU4Reconsstruction initiative to rebuild Ukraine for 37 million euros.

According to the EU Delegation in Ukraine, the project will last until June 30, 2028 and will direct coordinated financing, technical support and digital tools for the efforts to rebuild Ukraine.

The EU4ReConstruction will be implemented by the Danish Foreign Ministry, the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), Expertise France and the Central Agency for the CPVA (CPVA).

“Ukrainians with their stability and determination are a source of inspiration. I am convinced that they will turn rebuilding into success. The EU will support them step by step, reform by reform to restore a strong, modern Ukraine that will be home in the EU. Programs such as EU4Reconsstruction help us to achieve this, ”said the Commissioner on Extension of Marta Kos.

According to the February Report of the World Bank, the Government of Ukraine, the European Commission and the UN on the assessment of losses and needs (RDNA4), which arose due to Russia’s aggression, the need for the restoration of Ukraine over the next decade should be $ 524 billion.
