Who can get help?
The assistance of the student’s package is intended for parents or other legal representatives of children who are going to the first grade this year.
An important condition is that the child should study offline (eye) format. According to the head of the government Denis Shmigal, this means that children from the frontline regions where training is online will not be able to take advantage of this payment. This condition has already caused criticism on social networks due to possible discrimination of children who are unable to study.
What can you spend?
The received 5,000 hryvnias can be used for the most necessary things for the student: office products, clothing, shoes.
The Government emphasizes that this initiative will help parents prepare children for school and provide first -graders with everything they need for a successful start in learning.
How to design a student’s package in action?
The help of assistance will be as simplified as possible.
After enrollment in the first grade, parents will receive notifications in the “Action” application. All you have to do is make a statement directly in the application. Payment will come to a special action.
The exact date of launching the program and more detailed instructions will be announced by the government later.
Where is the money on a schoolboy package
The Package of the Student Package is implemented with the support of the UN (UNDP) development program in Ukraine as part of the Support Support Project, funded by Sweden, as well as the Swiss-Ukrainian project of Decide, supported by the Zurich Pedagogical University with the assistance of Swiss.
According to the calculations of NGOs, last year to the first class It went About 278 thousand children. If this year’s number of first -graders is comparable, the total amount of payments may exceed UAH 1.3 billion. However, it is difficult to accurately assess how many of these children will study, since last year the ratio of full -time and online training was about 80% to 20%.
