Details: The Russian Research Institute of Applied Chemistry, as well as the head of the troops of radiological, chemical and biological protection Alexei Rtishchev and his deputy Andrei Marchenko, came under the sanctions of Britain.

According to the British side, the research institute of applied chemistry provided by the Russian army by manual chemical grenades, which they used against the military forces of defense of Ukraine.
And Rtishchev and Marchenko “participated in the transfer and use of chemical weapons in Ukraine”, according to the explanation of the British government.

In October 2024, Britain had already imposed sanctions against three Russian institutions and one individual in connection with the use of Russian military chemical weapons against Ukraine.
