Birmingham City announced the signing of the striker Kego Furuhas. The 30-year-old forward joined the English club from French Renne. The amount of transfer of the clubs is not disclosed. The agreement is calculated by the summer of 2028.

Furukhasi is already familiar with British football – he had a brilliant period of Scottish Celtic, where he became one of the key players. In Scotland, Kego spent 165 matches, scored 85 goals and won eight internal trophies, including three championship titles.

In the European Cups, Furuhas was marked with goals at the goal of the top commands, including Athletic Madrid, Lazio, Bayer Levercuse and Lepzig RB.

In January 2025, he moved to Renne, but returned to the United Kingdom in the summer – this time to England, where it will become part of the ambitious Birmingham City Project, which is currently in the championship.

At the international level, Kego Furuhas made his debut for Japan in 2019. At the moment, the player spent 23 matches for the national team.
