If the court approves the document, some of the users will not receive compensation. Ukraine, China, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and 45 jurisdictions were included in the list. They cover 5% of the total amount of $ 16 billion requirements 82% of assets in these countries.

The plan involves the involvement of local lawyers to evaluate the possibility of payments in accordance with national legislation. If transactions do not violate the standards, the money will be sent through payment services such as Payoneer, which has joined the distribution system in June.

If payments are recognized as illegal, the country is officially classified as “limited jurisdiction”. In this case, creditors will have 45 days to appeal the decision.

All applications for jurisdictions where compensations are impossible are canceled. The funds will be returned to the competitive mass for further redistribution among other users. The FTX team has stated that it is working on reducing this list.

The court session was scheduled for July 22.

The lender under Nick Zhetengji from China has already promised to challenge the decisions at each stage and urged others to join the protest, calling the initiative “absolutely unjustified”.

Recall that in June, FTX lawyers opposed the claim of the liquidated Hedge Fund of Three Arrows Capital (3AC) for $ 1.53 billion.
