General Staff: 66 storms of the Russian Federation recorded last day in the Pokrovsky direction

183 combat clashes were recorded at the front during the last day, most of all – in the Pokrovsky direction, the General Staff of the Armed Forces in the morning of July 5 reported.

“In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 66 assault actions in the areas of settlements of Poltava, Novotoretske, Razine, Mirolyubivka, Ray, Novoukrainka, Lucky, Novosergiyivka, Kotlyarivka and Oleksiyivka,” – the message reads.

In addition, the fights were in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, in the South Slobozhansky, Kupyansky, Lymansky, Siversky, Toretsky, Novopavlovsky, Orikhiv, Dnieper directions, the military says.

“According to the information, yesterday the enemy struck four rocket launchers and 74 aviation strikes, used 14 rockets and dropped 117 managed aviation bombs. In addition, he made 6312 shellings, including 118-from the jet systems of volley fire, and attracted 5250 drones-Kamikadze to defeat, ”the message reads.

The Pokrovsky direction in the Donetsk region remains one of the hottest areas of the front. Over the last year, the largest number of combat clashes is mainly recorded there.

On May 22, Radio Liberty Donbass reported that Russia in Donbass intensified the offensive in several directions, seeking to surround Konstantinovka – an important railway knot and a stronghold of Ukrainian defense.
