Ukraine has officially joined the UN Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), said Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga. It is an important recognition of the role of Ukraine in ensuring global food security.
Despite the difficulties caused by the war, our country continues to work actively on humanitarian initiatives, including the Grain from Ukraine program, aimed at supporting the global food balance.
At the same time, Russia and Belarus were unable to get into the Council, which emphasizes their international isolation through aggressive actions. Ukraine, on the contrary, has received support for the UN Member States and will continue to make efforts to strengthen food security in the world.
