On June 23, NABU and SAP reported Chernyshov’s suspicion, “the current Viceremer-Minister of Ukraine, who previously held the position of Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.” He is suspected of abuse of office and receiving undue benefits in particularly large size for himself and third parties.
It is a probable illegal provision of a land plot in Kiev to one of the capital’s developers under the construction of a residential complex at a low price in exchange for discounts for apartments for “minister and defined persons”.
It is reported that Chernyshov became the sixth suspect in the case of a large -scale corruption scheme in the construction sphere with the participation of top officials. He previously called the suspicion unjustified and stated that he did not plan to resign.
