The General Staff of the Armed Forces: The Russian Federation has lost about a thousand military and more than 20 artsystems a day

Russia lost about 1,023 090 of its military during the full -scale invasion of Ukraine, including 1000 people – in the last day, such data by the morning of July 3 is given by the Ukrainian General Staff.

Among other Russian casualties, the Armed Forces Command suggests as follows:

  • Tanks – 10986 (+1 – in the last day)
  • Battle armored vehicles – 22936 (+5)
  • Artillery systems – 29815 (+21)
  • RSZV – 1427
  • air defense means – 1191
  • Planes – 420
  • Helicopters – 340
  • UAV Operative-tactical level-43098 (+85)
  • winged rockets – 3436
  • ships / boats – 28
  • submarines – 1
  • Automobile equipment and tanker trucks – 53887 (+101)
  • Special equipment – 3922 (+1).

Russia does not officially disclose its losses. Moscow last called the number of killed in September 2022 – then declared 5937 dead. On March 5, intelligence of the United Kingdom said that, since the beginning of 2025, Russia probably lost about 90,000 soldiers killed and wounded in the war against Ukraine.

Kyiv also did not voice losses for a long time, stating that the data would be disclosed after the war. At the same time, on February 16, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with NBC News that since February 2022, Ukraine lost more than 46,000 soldiers and about 380,000 in the war.
