All five suspects in the case of probable theft of more than UAH 5 million during the construction of defense structures in Kharkiv region chose a preventive measure – detention for two months without the right to make bail.
This was reported by the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office in the field of defense of the Eastern Region.
According to the investigation, among the suspects – former deputy mayor Andriy Rudenko, two directors of commercial companies and two entrepreneurs. They are charged with overestimation of the cost of building materials and defense structures, in particular the so -called “dragon teeth”.
Rudenko is considered the actual head of Tech-Incom, although formally he does not work in it. The defense of the exposting denies the blame and insists that the purchases were carried out at market prices, taking into account logistics, and there were no comments on the part of the OVA, which accepted the objects. The pre -trial investigation is ongoing.
Earlier, we wrote that on the outskirts of the village of Yunnakivka, Sumy district, at least from the beginning of winter, there are a pile of not installed “teeth of the dragon” along the roads. They were to protect Sumy region from the breakthrough of the defense line by Russian troops during the offensive.
The Verkhovna Rada changed the composition of the temporary special commission on fortifications and drones. The deputy Vitaliy Bort was withdrawn from the ex-OPZH from the commission.
