Now all documents can be submitted online and do not need to physically visit a diplomatic institution and spend extra time.

This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga on the social network Facebook.

“Today I am happy to report pilot launch in the first 40 foreign diplomatic institutions of the new service in one of the key consular fields. This is an automated notary,” Sibiga noted.

In particular, since July 1, Ukrainians have been accessed to a new automated Foreign Ministry notarized system. According to the Foreign Minister, the new system will save time and money for Ukrainians, as well as unload the work of consuls.

Yes, the main innovation is that all the procedures for submitting and processing documents can now be done online, without the need for physical visit to the diploma.

“Instead of long waiting, travel, design – now a convenient online procedure and later a short visit to take away the finished document,” Sibiga added.

He noted that earlier the citizen had to personally come and submit all the necessary documents in paper form, write a statement on his own; to inform what kind of authority he is about to transfer to another person, to agree with the consul the text of the required power of attorney; Pay a consular fee (usually at a post office or in a bank), and then expect a power of attorney and receipt in the afternoon. Sometimes, in the absence of a document or uncertainty about what kind of power of attorney is suitable for further use, the citizen had to visit a diplomatic institution again on another day. All this took time, money, resources.

“From now on, with the launch of a digital notary, a citizen at a convenient time for him, through a reliable and accessible E -Consul system, submits an online application for notarial act, downloads a sample of the necessary power of attorney or notarial statement, overloads all the necessary documents.

After that, the consular official processes the information submitted and consent to the notarization document.

“In case of detection of any inconsistencies, the applicant is sent with specific recommendations for their removal. The system forms a notarial document and sends the person to a notity of readiness to certify and the need to pay for the consular fee,” Sibiga added.

After that, the citizen remains to be enrolled in an e-jarg for receiving the finished document, to arrive at the diplomatic institution at a certain time, to personally sign the document and, after entering the consul with information in the notarial act, obtain the documented document.
