Details: The contract for the supply of new cars for the National Armed Forces of Latvia was signed by the State Secretary of Defense Ayvars Purinsh and Vice-Cresident of the Spanish company Gdels-Santa Bárbara Sistemas Alehandro Page Ernendz.

“The additional purchase of infantry fighting vehicles will not only help us to achieve the goals set by NATO, but also greatly accelerate the development of the mechanized infantry brigade, allowing another battalion to be re -arranged in a shorter time,” – said Latvia’s Defense Minister Andris Prauds.
During the signing ceremony, the official name for the latest generation – Hunter was awarded. Their delivery to the national armed forces will cost 387 million euros.
Along with this additional party, Latvia will receive an 84 infantry fighting vehicles.
The fourth -level armor, NATO standards, automatic gun, anti -tank weapons, machine gun and other modern technologies that will allow soldiers to control the battlefield.
