Details: According to journalists, it is about the organization “Humanitarian Hope of the Nation”, which in her appeals to the Lviv OVA called herself a public organization, “Ukrainian-French group”. The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine confirmed that such an organization is not registered. Her email, from which the letters were sent, is currently inactive.

Journalists point out that the “Humanitarian Hope of the Nation” used the Russian “Gazprombank” logo in their letters to Lviv Ova and the signature of the Russian emperor of the late nineteenth century, Alexander III. The director of the organization was Oleksandr Nikolenko – hundreds of people with this name and surname were registered in the registers in Ukraine.

During the fall of 2022, the Lviv Ova received five letters from the Humanitarian Hope of the Nation. Orders, which, signed by the head of the Lova Maxim Kozytskyi, approved departure abroad, received either the same day or the next. Eight men were allowed to leave.

According to the analysis of NGL.Media, at least seven of eight men who were allowed to leave the “Humanitarian Hope of the Nation” did not return to Ukraine. They left cars, trains and even crossed the border on foot – usually a few days after issuing the orders of the fishing head.

One of these men was 25-year-old Artem Luchans from the Dnieper. In November 2022, Artem Luschany, together with the then freelance adviser to the chairman, Oleksiy Shevchuk, crossed the Ukrainian-Polish border. Three days before, the Lushcha residents were introduced to the “Path” system as a volunteer driver-on the basis of the request of the organization “Humanitarian Hope of the Nation”, which asked him to leave for alleged transportation of humanitarian cargo.

According to journalists, Shevchuk returned to Ukraine in three days, and Luschany remained abroad.

Another man – Sergey Valivodz – received two permits for departure: one – at the request of the Humanitarian Hope of the Nation, the other – from NGO “Lviv Traveler”, which is also not registered.

In response to the request of journalists, the Lviv Ova reported that he knew only one man who violated the timing of being abroad. In June 2024, the State Border Service canceled his permission to leave. The administration also stated that “for the accuracy of the data provided in the letters, the applicants who submitted them were responsible.”

Alexei Shevchuk did not answer the questions of journalists. NGL.Media failed to contact other men who left the Humanitarian Hope for the Nation.
