President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the liquidation of five advisory bodies at the Presidential Office, while creating a new structure – the Council for Entrepreneurship Support.
The new body should become a key platform for the analysis of state policy in the field of business, preparation of proposals for its improvement and stimulation of investment activity in Ukraine.
According to the decree, the chairman of the council was appointed Head of Presidential Andriy Ermak, and his deputy was the first Viceremierk – Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko. The council includes more than 70 well -known Ukrainian entrepreneurs, including Oleg Gorokhovsky, Maxim Timchenko, Sergey Tigipko, Igor Nikonov, Vyacheslav Klimov and others.
Business ombudsman Roman Vashchuk and the Chairman of the Federation of Employers Dmitry Oliynyk will also work in the Council.
The main tasks of the new council are to analyze the effectiveness of state policy in the field of business development, to summarize business problems and to prepare proposals for their solution.
The body will also be responsible for developing measures to improve business conditions, stimulate investments and innovations, protect property and competition in accordance with the best international practices.
Separately provides for the development of legislative initiatives for adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to the standards of the European Union.
Zelensky simultaneously eliminated the five previous advisory bodies: the National Reform Council, the Executive Committee of Reforms, the National Investment Council, the Council for the Promotion of Small Entrepreneurship Development and the Council on Entrepreneurship Support in Martial Law.
These structures have been created in different years to coordinate reforms, stimulate small business investments and support, but, according to the President, the new council should become the only effective playground for dialogue between the authorities and entrepreneurs.
In addition to creating a new council, the President has instructed to prepare a decision to introduce a long moratorium on business checks to protect entrepreneurs from excessive pressure of law enforcement agencies and to create favorable conditions for the development of Ukrainian business.
We will remind, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky changed the composition of the rates of the Supreme Commander, having introduced into it the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces, as well as the First Deputy Minister of Defense and Commander of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces.
We have already reported that Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed to prepare a decision to introduce a long moratorium on business checks to protect entrepreneurs from administrative pressure.
