Nova Poshta has started a large -scale restructuring that has already led to the dismissal of several dozen employees in the fields of external, domestic, international communications and corporate social responsibility.
Among those who leave the company are the director of reputation of the group of companies, Olena Plakhova, who has worked here since 2020 and was considered one of the strongest market specialists.
Her departure became a prominent event for the internal team, because, as the sources point out, “Plakhova was the heart of this team and gave the company a lot of effort.”
The reason for the abbreviations is called the implementation of the internal program of increasing the efficiency of Doge, which is overseen by the co -owner of the company Vladimir Porzhnyuk. According to him, about 30% of New Mail employees “do not touch the parcel”, that is, work in offices, not with delivery.
Porzhnyuk believes that such a fraction is excessive and should be only 10-15%. That is why the company suggested that office staff switch to positions related to parcel treatment or dismiss.
Already, about 2000 out of 7,000 office workers have been transferred to other positions or released, and by the end of the year, this number may be halved.
The company emphasizes that it is not just reduction, but optimization of processes that should increase business efficiency. Porzhnyuk emphasizes: “We are not engaged in cuts, we are engaged in improving our processes.
People are released by themselves, but we all invite you to work in offices. ” At the same time, according to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, in May 2025, Nova Poshta announced the planned reduction of about 2,900 employees, which is less than 10% of the total number of staff.
This has become one of the conditions for obtaining a loan from the EBRD for 50 million euros, which will be aimed at modernizing infrastructure and improving the operating efficiency of the company.
