One of the most famous Finnish organizations to assist Ukraine Nordic Combat Medics has no permission to raise funds, and some of the funds raised for it were spent on payment of fines for parking, designated by its founder Tina Soyna.

Nordic Combat Medics (NCM) was engaged in the delivery of medical and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, as well as transported patients from one hospital to another.
In general, the organization received donations worth at least tens of thousands of euros in the form of money and materials for its activities.
Nevertheless, for more than two years, Nordic Combat Medics has no permission to raise funds. Such permission was issued to the former name of the organization – the International Finnish Rescue Team – but it became invalid in January 2023.
In addition, Nordic Combat Medics did not provide a report on the funds used, and founder Tina Soyna said that all donations came to her personal bank account. The police checked her accounts, but did not find evidence of appropriation or their misuse, so then they closed the case.
However, suspicions of misuse of funds have arisen not only in the police, but in the partners of the Organization of the Soyna. Yes, the head of the Association of Ukrainians in Finland, who was raising funds for Nordic Combat Medics, Vasily Hutsul said that NCM did not provide reports.
At the same time, the Soyna said she could not provide reporting because it is allegedly dangerous for its organization. In addition, Hutsul said that the NCM founder received parking penalties that had to be paid at the expense of the organization.
In total, in less than half a year, 12 penalties of almost 800 euros were imposed on the car.
“We were disappointed and evil. They said the shadows: please follow the rules, you are not a shummer, ”Hutsul says.
The Association of Ukrainians in Finland also only through the police was able to pick up one of the cars purchased for donations, which was transferred to the Wanders Organization for work in Ukraine.
In addition, despite the existence of unused funds, the organization did not pay the lease of the warehouse where things were stored, and part of the purchased equipment, including helmets and Starlink, costing 7 thousand euros, disappeared during transportation. The volunteer himself accuses the disappearance of the former member of the organization, and instead filed a statement on the police for defamation.
According to the Instagram account, Nordic Combat Medics still asks donations for its activities, and points itself part of the Ukrainian volunteer organization “Hospitalers”, although they denied any cooperation with the Finnish organization after 2023.
Yle Soyna journalists declared that they have “clearly incomplete and distorted information.” She stated that the organization of the organization was spent on the purchase of the stated equipment, but did not respond to criticism against herself.
Former NCM members say the woman is neither in Ukraine nor in Finland. Instead, she went abroad, taking with her a pickup purchased for 6,000 euros from donations. Now in Finland, a book about it is prepared for publishing, called “Girl-Warrior”.
