“The ex-first racket of the world has successfully launched in Bad Homburg”, – WRITE: Sport.ua
“I needed time to adapt. I think at the beginning I showed a high level, even had a few chances to make a break immediately, but they could not be implemented. Perhaps at that moment, I was slightly lowering the pace until I gathered and started doing what I know. Often, when you have a rest in the first round, this is not the advantage – you want to play as much as possible on this cover. But in any case, I am satisfied with every victory and the next round.
Honestly, I love to train in the days without matches. I really have fun at every workout, especially on the grass, though it is a slightly more complicated challenge for my tennis. But it is an opportunity to learn something: my coach shows me new things, new approaches to game situations – and it is very important to have a few ideas for different rivals in stock. I want to play in the style I like and that is why it is important for me to enjoy workouts. It makes me stronger as a play.
When I first came to play here, I quickly felt at home – a very cozy atmosphere here. This is the advantage of small tournaments, where everything is near, everything is connected, a special atmosphere is created. I love this tournament, I want to come back here every year, make it a permanent part of my grassy calendar. I feel great support for the fans, and it is especially nice to see Polish flags in the stands. I just want to thank everyone who comes and supports me here, ”the Polish tennis player summed up.
