Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo has previously stated that Slovakia would demand to postpone voting for the 18th package of sanctions against Russia to address Slovakia concerning the supply of gas after 2027.

Latvia Prime Minister Evik Silin said that although she is not sure that the 18th package of sanctions against the Russian Federation can be agreed on Thursday, her country will not stop asking for new sanctions.
