The Polish President also acknowledged that Navrotsky’s meetings with Trump in the White House, which took place in early May, calling it a “wonderful prediction” of Polish-American relations.
“The duty of every President of the Republic of Poland is to strengthen ties with the United States. We have been implementing this for years, I have implemented it for 10 years and I listen to proudly when some experts say that Polish-American relations are the best in our history,” Duda said.
Navrotsky had the first telephone conversation with Trump on June 10, which stated that he received an invitation to the White House.
After the victory of Navrotsky, the US State Department expressed his hope for close cooperation with the new leader of the country.
