Zelensky and Macron discussed an increase in the supply of “mirage”

During the meeting President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Emmanuel Macron discussed an increase in the supply of mirage fighters and the launch of joint production of drones-interceptors to strengthen the protection of Ukrainian civil infrastructure against massive attacks by the Russian Federation.

Details: The parties discussed the possibility of increasing the number of mirage fighters, which have already proven effective in the fight against Russian drones and winged missiles. Zelensky stressed that these planes have significantly intensified Ukrainian shock aviation, especially in the context of civil infrastructure protection.

Particular attention was paid to the prospects of joint production of drones-interceptors to counteract massive attacks by Iranian UAVs, which Russia regularly applies against Ukrainian cities.

Zelensky and Macron also coordinated the further steps of diplomatic pressure on the Russian Federation, discussed the expansion of defense cooperation between the enterprises of both countries, the reduction of the “ceiling” of prices for Russian oil and the introduction of sanctions against LPG from Russia.

The issue of NATO summit in the Hague and the situation in the Middle East were a separate point of conversation.
