“Under the procedural leadership of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the suspicion of the participant of the NFF“ State Security Service of the Kherson Region ”was identified and informed in the commission of state betrayal, participation in the activities of illegal armed formation and ill -treatment with civilian population,” the statement.
According to the investigation, the 33-year-old suspect, while in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region, participated in illegal imprisonment and torture of pro-Ukrainian activists and opponents of armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
As noted, in particular, at the end of August 2022, he, together with other persons, detained Kherson resident. In the future, the man was imprisoned in one of the torture, organized in the basement of a captured office building in the city center. One day of detention, the suspect with the accomplices interrogated the victim, using physical and psychological violence to him to force him to provide the information they need.
In addition, the person was kept unusable for this room, in unsanitary conditions, without food and water.
