According to the investigation, this man in 2021 moved from temporarily occupied Crimea to the territory of Ukraine under the control of the government. After the start of the full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he was mobilized, but later he left his service, then returned to the military unit, but was released for a while.
The last year, working as a courier, the suspect began to look for a way to contact the Russian special services. In June 2025, at the request of the curators, he was tasked with finding and setting fire to a car owned by the Armed Forces serviceman or other military formations. In this way, he had to demonstrate his reliability and readiness for cooperation.
In the courtyard of a multi -storey building, in the area where he lives, the suspect made several photos of different cars of the Armed Forces, which he sent for approval to the customer. Having received the approval of the car – Ford Ranger camouflage, in the evening he poured it with a flammable substance and set fire to. Before that, the man was specifically dressed in the park so that he could not be recognized.
The owner of the burned car was an officer of the National Guard of Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine, Eugene Public, who was 25 years old that day.
In addition, the customers of the arson gave the man a gun to give him a more difficult task – to kill some famous person. However, the case did not come to this, as the suspect explained that no one of the high -ranking officials knows personally, the prosecutor’s office explains.
Pali was detained, the court arrested him without the alternative of bail.
The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of 5 to 8 years.
