Agriforce started a bitcoin mining using concomitant gas at the object in the city of Bervin (Alberta province, Canada).
In the first stage power The complex was 425 kW. 120 ASIC windows of Bitmain S21 with a total hashraite of more than 32 pH/s have been installed. The second phase provides an additional 200 kW of energy.
The company also concluded a deal with BlueFlare, which provides for adding 1.3 MW on two new locations in the region. The obtained infrastructure is planned to be used for mining, computing in the field of AI and other tasks.
“We do not expect permits or modernization of networks – we turn gas into calculations in weeks, not years,” CEO Agriforce said Jolie Kan.
By the end of 2025, Agriforce plans to increase the hashrait to 0.5 eh/s. The target for the first quarter of 2026 is 1 eh/s.
Currently, the company has already completed 7 BTC $ 735,000 at Alberta and Ohio.
According to the strategy, up to 50% of coins extracted by the company can leave in the reserve. The rest will be used for scaling. Up to 50% of the capital raised to buy bitcoin in the market is also allowed.
Recall that in May 2024, the American company Genesis Digital Assets launched a Data Center in Argentina for Bitcoin mining on energy obtained from the combustion of concomitant gas.
