The State Statistics Committee reports.
The Verkhovna Rada approved amendments to paragraph 1 of the Law “On Protection of Interests of Subjects of Reporting and other documents during the period of martial law or state of war”.
The new norm provides for mandatory reporting, so respondents must be reported again even during martial law. The transition period is provided: enterprises that did not report during the martial law have 3 months for reporting for the entire failure.
After the commencement of a full -scale invasion in 2022, some statistical observations were restricted in Ukraine, in particular, sample households, and the publication of information through incomplete reporting, explained in the State Statistics Committee.
However, the reporting did not stop, and its submission occurred on a voluntary basis. Thus, in the III quarter of 2024, the reporting level was 72.3%.
“The data collected and processed by the State Statistics Committee will become the basis for the formation of effective public policies focused on the restoration of the country, economy, social sphere. It also means a gradual return to the pre -war level of data and a full restoration of our work, which was limited through war, ”explained Arsen Makarchuk, the head of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
Changes to the Law Restore:

regular and mandatory business reporting;
-
possibility of conducting sample surveys of the population on living conditions, income, employment, agricultural activity, etc.;
