Lionel Messi received a special gift from his countryman and a racer of formula-1 Franco collapintto Shortly before Inter Miami’s match with Egyptian Al-Ahli at the US World Cup.

The 22-year-old pilot presented his helmet from the last season of Formula-2 last season, wishing Messi.

Earlier, Messi sent a collapine training T -shirt with an autograph, after which the rider thanked it, calling it a symbol of great luck and promising to draw it in a frame.

Franco Colapintto, Argentine Pilot Formula-1, has Ukrainian roots. His mother, Andrea Trofimchuk, originally from Volyn, and her family emigrated to Argentina in 1938 according to Polish documents. This information was confirmed by the Association of Ukrainians in Rosario in Argentina.
