UEFA officially confirmed changes in the starting rounds of the European Cups of the 2025/26 season.
Changes occurred in connection with the continuation of clubs from Russia from participation in tournaments.
These changes were made possible due to vacancies that remained after the exclusion of Russian clubs from UEFA auspices.
Champions League
According to the updated distribution, two clubs will start selection not from the first, but from the second qualifying round:
- Pathos (Cyprus)
- Ferencvaros (Hungary)
Europa League
One club has been similar advantage, which will also start from the second qualifying round:
- Magyulland (Denmark)
League of conferences
The most change was touched by the conference League. Six clubs that were rated from the first round will start the fight immediately from the second:
- Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
- Vaduz (Liechtenstein)
- Aquariiri (Iceland)
- Dangannon Swift (Northern Ireland)
- Dudelange (Luxembourg)
- Bang Gargzhdai (Lithuania)
