Zelensky: Three killed in an accident in France – Ukrainians, children were injured

On June 13, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that three citizens of Ukraine were among four killed in an accident in France.

Straight language: “The terrible news about the tragic accident of a bus in France, in which many Ukrainians, including children, were injured. They returned from a training exchange from the French Lyceum in Brittan. On the way to Paris, the bus lost its control and got into a ditch.

Currently, four dead adults are known, three of them are citizens of Ukraine. Two more people are in serious condition, French doctors fight for their lives. The rest of the children have medium and mild injuries, all of them are provided with the necessary help. ”

The Head of State informed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine immediately sent to the scene a team of diplomats and consuls, headed by Ambassador of Ukraine to France.

They assist Ukrainians and keep in touch with the families of the victims.

Zelensky expressed gratitude to the French authorities for the large -scale involvement of rescue services.

Straight language: “More than 50 emergency crews have been involved in the urgent delivery of our children to hospitals, and they continue to help our people.

This is a true manifestation of French solidarity. I know that French Presidential Office Emmanuel Macron continues to help and keep the situation under control. The anti -crisis center of France and local authorities is also mobilized.

My condolences to all the families of the victims. We all pray for life preserving and the recovery of wounded children as soon as possible. ”
