Ukrzaliznytsia announced the launch of 18 pairs of additional trains for the summer season of 2025.
Some of them have already appeared on the schedule, and the carrier will notify the carrier in the near future. The main goal is to provide Ukrainians with convenient travel to resorts, mountainous regions, as well as facilitate international transplants.
Among the main novelties are train №228/227 “Ivano-Frankivsk-Kramatorsk”, which will run every other day. Its route covers 9 regions and extends 1358 km, which makes this flight one of the longest in Ukraine.
Thanks to this train, passengers will be able to get from the Carpathian region without transplants to the Donbass, as well as to use convenient night and daily connections between Kiev and Kramatorsk.
Train # 220/219 “Kyiv – Dnipro” is appointed for the residents of the Dnieper and the capital, which will run on certain days of the week.
It strengthens the daytime between cities, and in Kiev passengers will be able to move to international flights to Moldova and Poland – in particular, by trains to Chisinau, Przemysl, Warsaw and Helma.
Another important novelty is the speed “Intercity” №765/764 “Kiev – Odesa”. It will leave Kiev from June 27, and from Odessa – from June 28, six times a week.
This is an ideal option for residents of Sumy and Chernihiv: in the evening you can come to Kiev, and in the morning to be at sea in Odessa.
For night trips between Kiev and Dnipro, Intercity+ # 736/735 will appear. It will run on certain days of the week, and in the capital, passengers will be able to move to high -speed trains to Lutsk, Rivne, Lviv, Chernihiv, Shostka and Sumy.
Zhytomyr received a direct railway connection with Odessa and Cherkasy thanks to the extension of the train №147/148. In the summer, this will allow Polesie residents to get to the southern regions of the country quickly.
Two new flights were assigned to travel to Transcarpathia: №283/284 “Kiev – Uzhgorod” and №203/204 “Kiev – Yasinya”. Both will run every other day, enhancing the connections with the western and eastern parts of the region.
Passengers from Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipro, Zaporozhye, Kramatorsk and Slavyansk will be able to move conveniently in Kiev to these areas.
Also in the summer schedule appeared “Intercity+” №739/740 “Kiev – Kryvyi Rih”, which will improve the connection of the capital with Kryvbas. Passengers from Kryvyi Rih will receive convenient transplants in Kiev for international and domestic high -speed trains.
Route №208/207 “Odesa – Vinnytsia” will connect the south with Podillya and will be relevant during periods of increased demand for transportation.
In addition, Ukrzaliznytsia is ready to promptly start additional trains in the areas of Kiev-Truskavets, Lviv-Odesa, Kiev-Kamianets-Podilskyi, Kiev-Lviv and others, if it requires passenger traffic.
In total, 11 more additional flights are provided in the summer schedule, which will be assigned to separate decisions.
Recall that Ukrzaliznytsia will strengthen the control measures at the stations. Passengers are advised to arrive in advance for landing, 20-30 minutes before departure.
