The 2000 meters to Andriyivka’s documentary will be released in cinemas in Ukraine at the end of the summer of this year.

The 2000 meters to Andriyivka (2000 Meters to Andriivka) tells about the liberation of the village of Andreevka under Bakhmut to the military of the Armed Forces and, directly, the 3rd separate assault brigade. In the new film Chernov and his colleague, photographer associated press Alexander Babenko, direct cameras on the Ukrainian military and impress with the image of life in the trenches.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the world premiere of the 2000 meters to Andreevka was held on January 23 at the US at the Sandence Festival.
The Ukrainian film premiere was held on June 7, 2025 during the 22nd International Human Rights Festival of Human Rights Docudays UA, where it is presented in the DOCU/World Competition Program.
Among the first viewers of the film, who noted him 10-minute, heroes from the 3rd separate assault brigade and the family of fallen soldiers, the press service of the Arthous Traffic Cinema Company said.

Ukrainians want peace, but they will fight for their families and for their land to the end. Currently, an IMDB movie rating is 8.2 out of 10 points, while on Rotten Tomatoes, it received 95% of critics approval. At the same time, at Metacritic, movie experts rated it at 85 out of 100 points, which corresponds to the characteristics of “universal recognition”.
