Dollar and euro continue to be cheaper in Ukraine exchangers

In Ukraine, there is a decrease in the exchange rate of the main currencies – the dollar and the euro fell in the interbank market and in the exchange offices.

On the morning of June 6, the average dollar sales rate in exchangers fell by 5 cents and is 41.60 UAH. The euro also decreased in price – by 15 cents, up to 47.65 UAH. They buy a dollar on average 41.10 hryvnias, and euro – 46.85 UAH.

In the interbank market, the situation is similar – the dollar rates from UAH 41.40-41.44 for one dollar for purchase and sale. This is 2 pennies higher than it was at the end of the previous day.

The official exchange rate set out in the National Bank of Ukraine on June 9, 2025 is UAH 41.4018 for one “dollar”, which is UAH 0.0699 less than the day before. Thus, the dollar is cheaper for the third day in a row and is approaching the minimum values ​​from April 22.

The official course of the euro also shows a decline – UAH 47.2726 for one euro, which is UAH 0.1047 less than before. Experts do not predict significant changes in the foreign exchange market in the near future.

According to Taras Lesovoy, Director of the Department of Financial Markets and Investment Activities Globus Bank, next week the course corridor will remain in the range of UAH 41.4-41.9 per dollar and UAH 45.5-47 per euro on the interbank.

In the cash market, these indicators will be close – UAH 41.6-41.8 per dollar and UAH 45.5-47 per euro.

Recall that the US dollar has fallen to a minimum level in the last one and a half months, giving way to the main world currencies.

We also reported that Ukraine will receive an additional $ 84 million funding from the World Bank by a housing recovery project that has been agreed as a result of Russian military aggression.
